Tweet in the Morning. Tweet in the Afternoon. Tweet in the Evening.

This has been my life since my friends and I realized how public our lives are becoming on Facebook. It's not that we don't like socializing or whatever, but we do treasure our privacy. Take a peek on what we're doing now or better yet follow me on Twitter: www.twitter.com/madforyoumaffy

Lady Gaga and Elton John: Back-to-Back

One of the many artists that took the world by storm is Lady Gaga. By her out-of-this world outfits and morbid music videos, she made most people gaga over her. If you try to strip her costume off and that thick make-up, you'd see a gifted artist. A natural talent. She need not to try hard to show off what she got. She's one great performer. An artist. An individualist.

Wow! Philippines

Here are some places you should visit when you go to the Philippines. I haven't been to some places yet but I'll make sure to keep you all posted.

My 1st Photography Workshop

The Venue.

It was a mind-blowing two-day workshop in Batangas. I was as nervous as I was excited for the said workshop. I didn't know what to expect and as a beginner, I didn't know how I'm going to keep up with the other attendees. Surprisingly, it was one hell of a roller coaster ride. It was tiring yet fun. What made it more refreshing was we had to do fashion photography, which I used to hate.

A couple of students from one of the nearby universities were invited to model for us. An on-the-spot photo contest was held and fortunately for me, I won. I got a one-night hotel accomodation and a p500 worth of gift card from Power Mac. I was aiming for the new iPod shuffle but I failed and so I used the gift card to buy myself a new iPod.

In the end, it was an experience I would never forget.

#nowplaying

Later last year, I fell in love with Owl City and started downloading most of their songs.(I know, I know. That makes me a pirate now.^^) This year started off well until I saw a news about this year's Grammy Awards and it made everything better. I learned of a new band called Lady Antebellum. They play country music so you'd notice how similar their music is to Taylor Swift's, Keith Urban's, Carrie Underwood's, and many more. Nevertheless, this band is someone to watch for this year. Their songs are now available in iTunes. Buy it now!

EXEN: Reunited!

Before two-oh-oh-nine ended, the teachers of the now defunct company, EXEN, decided to reunite once again to celebrate the holiday season together. It was a potluck dinner and everybody seemed to can't get over of our past team building activity in Bolinao (photos to be uploaded later) and so we played games to lit up the party.

Pau, the host, was pro-active enough to come up with games that surely made the building rock and made the other residents complaining because of the noise we created. She prepared prizes for the winners as well. Yum, yum chocolates, yum yum. Thanks Pau for the space and the laughter that made that night, oh so, memorable.

While everybody was having fun, happily unwrapping the gifts they got, the lights went off and a spark of light came out of nowhere. It was the candle on Mark's surprise birthday cake.

It was surely a great night. One of the best ways to end the year.

Ah Caramba!

My friends from down south and I made sure we make it a tradition to have a shot or two of tequila in celebration of someone's birthday. Not just did the alcohol made us forget about our age, but it surely left us hung over 'til the next day. Don't get me wrong. We're no alcoholics. We drink and we are responsible drinkers.

So the next time you celebrate your birthday or someone else's, don't forget the life of the party, tequila. Caramba!

A Benefit Concert

One of my favorite local artists and some homegrown talents rocked the night away showcasing their world class talents for a good cause.

To be honest, I'm no saint. I'm not religious but this night was a benefit concert for the reconstruction of our church's facade. They invited artists from the local mainstream that made the whole town crazy over getting some tickets. I was one of them.

For sure, the night was filled with wholesome and even some not-so-wholesome entertainment. Oh! Before I forget, some priests lullabied the crowd with some of Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli Classics and some Gospel songs.

Jed Madela, a mainstream artist and a world champion.

A festive day with friends

It was a celebration I've never been to. A special event best celebrated with friends, good friends. This is a proof that Taguig isn't all about THE FORT. Behind those velvet ropes of Encore is a party half-naked to the eyes. It was the day PIPER LOVES MADNESS PUPSIE were waiting for.

Nothing really beats a "looban" party. Thanks to Love for being such a good host. Dragged herself from one place to another just to serve us the best food, the best drink, the best experience. How could I forget the rest of my friends, who were also there to fill the day with laughter, pigging out, and camwhoring? Thanks Ayay, Lala, and oh shit, who was that guy we were with? Oh! Arvin! haha
