Projections

I am no model, but I love pretending to be one. Believe me I wasn’t always like this. I was always a wallflower (or perhaps, still am) but who doesn’t like to feel pretty and have their picture taken. Before I sound too self-absorbed, let me just say that vanity is almost every girl’s sin.

So anyway when my cousin asked me to “model” for her photography class project, I instantly agreed. Automatically, I asked for the theme and what I needed to bring. She couldn’t explain what it was and she told me, to my amusement, that she was only going to shoot my upper body and just needed a plain white tube top.
On the day of the shoot itself, my cousin finally explained what she was going to do. It was going to be very conceptual; I would have to portray different emotions while being projected with different images.

I should stop blabbering here and just let the pictures speak for themselves.

Would you believe that this was just shot in a bathroom?

This is easily my favorite. I'm with my cousin here, who's the photographer's sister.

A Little Help From A Friend: Lena on The Modern Gabriela Silang

I consider Lena a rare gem. Not only is she a great friend, but she is a fabulous fashion blogger as well. I'm not exaggerating. Go ahead check out her blog. I wanna thank her for not turning my invitation down and for such an incredibly written entry. Haha I was simply amazed the first time I saw these photos and overjoyed when she said "YES" to putting them on my blog. Thanks again, Lena! Hats off to her cousin, Nerisa Marie Fernandez. You nailed it!

Paham and Jamie (09/24/2011)

Sonnet 116

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.
Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come:
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.

'Tis the Season to be Busy

December is, indeed, the busiest month of the year. Endless partying, last-minute Christmas shopping, fat-burning gift wrapping, and many more. I guess this is the most stressful yet fun-filled Christmas I've ever had. In preparation for our corporate year-end gathering, nine different divisions will compete for the best Christmas presentation and so I'm gonna give you a sneak peek of what we've been doing in the past couple of days.

The stress doesn't end there. We also had to decorate our area. The theme is punk rock and so we made a Rocker Santa for that rock n' roll vibe.
