An Early Morning Reflection

It's a sad truth that here in the Philippines only a few have access to e-learning resources. What's worse is that not everybody knows what e-learning is. 

Good thing someone heard and felt the need and actually came up with this wonderful website where teachers, students and even parents can learn together! CE-Learning is the online portal to C&E’s pool of e-learning resources. Learn more about the site through this link. 

Another online project hosted by C&E is the Philippine E-Journals (PEJ), an expanding collection of academic journals that are made accessible globally through a single Web-based platform. PEJ serves as an avenue for local journal publishers to get noticed by both local and foreign researchers, students and researchers. 

The ever-growing need for quality education has now reached the World Wide Web. At this point, all we need is access to these online resources. I bet the government can provide this kind of service to schools around the Philippines, especially to those in the rural areas.

Making History on a Saturday

 

We all made history with Hyundai on Saturday as they celebrated their 10th anniversary in the Philippines. 

• Running for a cause felt a lot better than just running for fitness
• Getting to the the finish line was merely a bonus

The Chris Sharma Fans Club

To be honest, it was just when we started wall climbing last Sunday when we came across the name Chris Sharma.According to articles I read online, Chris Sharma is the world's best climber. Curiosity got me and I watched his videos. I was speechless. Climbing, swinging from one rock to another, falling and climbing back up. Chris Sharma is, undoubtedly, one of the greatest climbers. 

I personally don't wish to become like him. I have just learned to like wall climbing and I still have too many walls and rocks to climb. What matters is I get to experience this adventure-filled part of my life with friends. 

Windsor's Voice

Realization: A struggle between the monarchy and speech defect; how a king faced embarrassment and met a friend he'd be forever grateful for can be worthy of an Oscar. Heart breaking at the beginning yet ended with so much grace. There was absolutely no room for shame. 


It was truly remarkable for a man of great stature, possessed such great power, faced his own flaws with dignity still intact. Embarrassed as expected but was persuasive. Like a valiant soldier who fears no guns, canyons, bombs, and even death, King George VI, afraid to hear his own voice continued to search within and victoriously ended what was like a war within his own soul. Inspiring. 


A must-see movie. I heard the audiobook is a must-try as well.

Nothing can stop me from exploring the world even if it means cutting my arm in half. I was born to see the world and I'm gonna do it.
